Jo Jones – I have lived in Burwell for 27 years and love the nature around us. I ring birds at Wicken Fen, have worked for the RSPB, alongside farmers, protecting stone curlews, and now coordinate work in the Brecks to conserve rare Brecks flora, with Plantlife.

At this time of lockdown, I am keen to help people spot, enjoy and understand a bit more about the flowers, birds and insects they may see in their gardens or around the village as they take their daily exercise.

Needless to say, I am doing this in my own time. What I write is my own, not necessarily the view of any of the organisations I work with or for.
